Disease and Treatment Overview

Hepatitis C is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis C virus (HCV). The virus can cause both acute and chronic hepatitis infection, which can lead to a life-long disease. CHP has acquired a treatment protocol and is actively providing lifesaving treatment to qualified patients.

Program Eligibility

Patient must meet with Program Manager for initial physical and labs, including drug screening.  Patient is assessed for readiness to begin therapy.

Therapy can last from 12 to 48 weeks, patients required to stay in Lumpkin County till end of treatment.
