Thrift Store

Did You
Know?
Our thrift store generates nearly $300,000 each year- a crucial part of our organization’s revenue? This funding allows us to operate our food pantry, community navigation and free clinics. Donating to, or shopping in our thrift store makes you a part of this important work that we do in transforming lives.
Donations and Pickups
Our donation team is happy to assist you with unloading your merchandise. Simply drive to the end of our building nearest the intersection of Rock House Road and Hwy 52 and someone will assist you during store hours. If you would like to schedule a pickup of furniture items (within 30 miles of our facility) call and speak to a member of the thrift store team.
To schedule a furniture pickup, please email TS@communityhelpingplace.org

E-Store
We routinely receive such nice merchandise from our kind neighbors that we are able to offer many collectibles and antiques through our e-store to a larger audience. If you cannot visit our store in person, we invite you to look through the wonderful donations we receive to support the work we do.
E-Store Platforms

What are the thrift store hours?
Monday-Saturday 10 am -5 pm
What items will you not accept?
We cannot accept mattresses, baby cribs, tube television sets, and items deemed unsafe or unsanitary.
Are the store prices negotiable?
Our thrift store is largely staffed by volunteers, and 100% of our store proceeds benefit our community. For this reason, we prefer not to haggle on prices, however, if you are in need of something in our store and unable to purchase it, we are happy to help you with a voucher through our community navigation department.
Do you sell everything you receive?
Essential items like clothing, appliances, and furniture are often provided through our voucher program to clients in need. Clothing that is ripped, torn, or stained is recycled through our partnership with Green Zone and generates revenue, so we appreciate all clothing and shoe donations. All medical equipment (wheelchairs, crutches, shower chairs, etc.) are donated directly to our clinic and given free of charge to anyone in need.
