The Food Pantry is open with our usual operating schedule of M, W, F from 10-1. 

Community Helping Place’s Food Pantry is the flagship program offered by our agency. Operating of our Rock House location, we strive to address hunger in Lumpkin County by providing food to over 217 local families each month.
In 2022 we:

  • Served 2,640 Families

  • Distributed 238,486 pounds of food

  • 514 Volunteers

  • 3,598 Volunteer Hours

Our hours are: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

If you would like to contribute to our Food Pantry items that are generally needed are listed below:

  • Jelly

  • Grits

  • Soup

  • Cereal

  • Crackers

  • Vegetable Oil

  • Canned Meat

  • Canned Potatoes

Personal Care Items Needed:

  • Shampoo

  • Conditioner

  • Body Wash

  • Deodorant

  • Laundry Detergent

  • Baby Wipes
